Glimpses of May

May has been a wildly busy {or, you know, straight up chaotic} month! Work has been busy … weekends have been busy … you get the picture.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll let these beautiful images speak for themselves. A glimpse, if you will, of some of May’s highlights to date.

Peas are exceedingly happy, reaching to the sky and producing in abundance.
Marvel of Venice beans growing up the fence.
Marvel of Venice bloom! So pretty.
Strawberry season is here! Top left are from our little patch.
Squash just starting to bloom.
Along with their companion nasturtiums.
Baby squashes!
Who knew radish blooms could be so beautiful?
And gotta love a bouquet of sweetpeas and larkspur!
I absolutely love these blue flowers, we’ve got a small patch in the backyard.
I think they’re a bachelor button?
Vetch may be a “weed” but it’s glorious (and makes great nitrogen nodules).
