For reasons known only to itself {although I wager the two super moons played a large part}, August was one wild ride: massive technological meltdowns at work, continued unrelenting heat, and a monster of a hurricane to end things off. There were plenty of highlights as well, including multiple evening swims and the return of the most gorgeous sunset season. August was also good for reading! I feel like I’m getting my groove back, which is fun, and there have been some excellent stories read. See below for all the details!

So many print books in August! And again, another month without an audiobook … I just haven’t been in the mood. I’ve got a hunch September will have at least one, so we’ll see what happens. I did leave one ebook stranded – my kindle says I’ve got 2 hours of reading time left, so I was close.
How was your August reading? What’s on your TBR for September? I’ve got a stack of library holds I’m going to try to plow through, but I’ve been very much a mood reader lately so … we shall see where the stories lead us.
