Glimpses of February

To have been such a short month, February packed a punch this year. {Perhaps it has something to do with the Leap Year effect … remember, our last Leap Year sent the whole world into a tailspin!}. In spite of the chaos and sometimes hard moments, there were also moments that brought joy.

February was the month of pink skies …
Blooms emerging: the early signs of spring.
Splurged on some African violets for the kitchen window.
Pink houseplants bring extreme joy and delight.
Cousin-bunny snuggles.
The cousins are having to bottle-feed this sweetie…
… and it’s the most awesome thing! I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

It’s easy to lose sight of the good when the crazy starts piling up, which is one reason I love these photographic recaps of the month. While February is short, there were fun memories created: I’ve now bottle-fed my first calf! And I’ve got pink houseplants! {I also ordered an entire book series, but that’s a discussion for another day…}. We made it through, and Spring is just around the corner – with a whole new set of adventures.
