Reading Recap: March

March was a really bizarre month, but in spite of all that {or maybe because of it?}, it also managed to be a great reading month! Check out what I read and how I rated it below.

Titles & Star-Ratings (with format!):
📱 Who’s that Earl? (Susanna Craig) ⭐⭐⭐1/2
📖 The Kamogawa Food Detectives (Hisashi Kashiwai) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📖 Queen of Thieves (Beezy Marsh) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📖 The Princess Protection Program (Alex London) ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
📖 Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Lord (Celeste Connally) ⭐⭐⭐1/2
📱 When He was Wicked (Julia Quinn) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📱 Pages & Co: The Last Bookwanderer (Anna James) ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
🎧 Traces of Magic (Monica Fairview) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

While I finished the more books than any month so far, I also had my first DNF of the year: Talulah’s Back in Town by Brenda Novak. I was promised small town vibes, and it did not deliver – what I got instead was awful, awful characters. I managed 52% and then just had to bail. I definitely consider a DNF a win in its own right though, because I’ve freed up time to read books that I actually enjoy.

It was also a very historical month of reading, with just a touch of fantasy. Don’t worry though: I am still very much in my Fantasy Era, and will be diving deeper soon.

On the whole, I’m very pleased with March’s reading, and look forward to seeing what April holds. What did you read in March? Did you love everything, or did you join Team DNF?
