My Christmas is Booked: Check-In

Well y’all, Thanksgiving is Thursday and we’re a month away from Christmas. That means it’s time for me to finish getting ready for the holidays, but it also means we’re due another My Christmas is Booked update! This year mini reviews can be found in Bookmarked posts, so check those out for specific opinions and impressions, but let’s see what I’ve read since the last check-in.

Has anyone seen The Christmas Ring movie yet? I feel like this was a story that will be better on screen. And Jenny Colgan is always a good bet – this one was lovely.

Featured on my Sugarplum-Free list, Miss Winter was a wild ride, with twists and red herrings galore. And I continue to enjoy the small town vibes that Thayne creates.

This is why TBR lists are so tricky to make: Clearly “bonus books” are pulling ahead, but I am almost finished reading another of my official TBR selections. 3 of the 4 bonus reads have also been audio, so it’s almost as if they are truly bonus.

How is your festive reading going?
For those wanting a quick taste of holiday reading, I’ve got a list of novellas and other short reads coming soon, so stay tuned!

May everyone have a lovely, easy, and cozy holiday week with tasty treats and good company.
I am truly thankful for each of you who comes by to visit my little corner of the web.

  1. Miss Winter in the Library with a Knife sounds super fun and the December Market one looks cute too. I don’t really do too much Holiday reading because Dec is almost always feverish catch-up month and I have a hard time finding christmas books I like but I am still trying them here and there a bit. So I look forward to your upcoming holiday novellas post!

    • The December Market was good, but not as cute/fluffy as the cover, haha. Miss Winter was definitely a lot of fun (that feels so weird to say about a murder mystery, LOL!). Novellas coming soon 😀

      • Ahah okay I appreciate the warning for December Market, thanks 🙂 & lol I know what you mean it does feel weird to use that descriptor for a murder mystery but some can really be quite fun!
