Glimpses of July

As things finally settle down some at work, and summer slowly draws to a close {TBH: I’m not entirely sad about that – the heat this month has been intense. Also, the older I get, the more fall is my favorite}; I’m getting back into a good posting rhythm, and decided to share some July moments I captured in photos that haven’t made it to posts of their own. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and there are moments worth remembering.

Cutest garden visitor! 5 little bunnies in the garden, just leaving the nest. (Empty nest found later in a growbag, tucked in amongst the pea vines.)
Very much NOT a welcome (or cute) garden visitor!
We’ve pulled 3 of these monsters off tomatoes … and 1 off a pepper plant!
There’s nothing like the smell + taste of meat cooked over fire.
Fall skies have returned to me, early. And I’m there for it.
I will never get tired of our western horizon view.

For all the chaos and “survival mode” that’s been going on this summer, there have been as many moments of quiet joy – whether it’s the discovery of the teeniest baby bunnies being brave, or summer calf antics, or breath-takingly gorgeous skies… and these are the moments we live for.
