Glimpses of October

Time for another pictorial recap of the month, and there are a lot of pictures to share today. In the words of Anne Shirley: “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers”! The weather has been glorious, allowing for much time spent outside savoring the delights of the season.

These grasses may be “weeds” of a sort, but they’re glorious in the autumn sunlight.
Oh, but the goldenrod this year has been amazing.

The buckwheat in nearly-full bloom, it was so beautiful. The bees are not the only ones enjoying snacking on buckwheat – one day when checking the bees, we came upon a doe munching.

The froggies are savoring every last bit of warmth and sun they can, and there are so many of them!

Full moon rising, incredibly bright. With Jupiter sparkling down below.
