Garden feasts

One of the best things about Summer in the garden is the abundance of fresh produce. Being able to run out and harvest what we need for a meal is both fun and satisfying, and nothing tastes like homegrown. Especially the tomatoes.

Since we’ve been eating very well this month, I thought I’d share some of our favorites. If anything catches your fancy and you’d like a recipe/more information, drop a comment – we love to share our process, and I’m working on creating some more kitchen/cooking related content.

The most delicious homemade pesto on giant pasta, with chicken.
Our take on Mexican street corn, made as a dip/bake.
This recipe will be posted soon.
Faux Caesar salad, with homemade croutons.
Creamy cherry tomato sauce on more giant pasta.
Endless variations of cucumber salad. Yum!
Pico de Gallo: one of the best summer flavors.
Cantina bowl: homemade refried beans, corn, chicken, fresh pico.
Experimenting with the viral “fried” onion trend, and it was delicious.

We have been thoroughly enjoying the fresh produce, with lots of pastas and salads. I finally got to indulge in an amazing BLT as well, but it was not photographed {maybe next time}.
How have you been devouring the flavors of Summer?

  2. I’ve thought about sharing some baking related posts before then never gotten around to it 🙈 maybe one day. This all looks amazing though. I’m not sure what I’d highlight as the most tempting. Maybe the Cantina bowl as I don’t think I’ve tried one before but I’ve loved similiar salad style bowls that I’ve had.
